Care and Feeding

Raw (natural, uncoated) Copper and Sterling Silver tarnish over time; the natural patina is what gives this type of jewelry its depth and highlights. The process will continue over time.

Exposure to moisture, oils, and chemicals will speed up the tarnishing process. Cleaning after wearing with warm soapy water and drying will slow the process. Store (make sure it’s dry!) in a ziplock bag.

If the tarnish progresses beyond what you like, rub with a SunshineⓇ Soft polish cloth to bring back the highlights. 

SunshineⓇ Soft cloths will continue to work until the cloth is completely darkened. Do not wash the cloth.
